If you intend to have new hair cut, choose the starting product with the stylist who will perform the work. A preferred finished length does not automatically tell you which product length to order. The needed starting point depends on the shape, texture, construction and the service plan, so avoid inventing a universal allowance.
Describe the finished result first
Show where you want the hair to finish and provide views that explain the desired shape. Include any fringe, layers or difference between the front and back. A single length number can leave those details unclear. Tell the stylist which aspects are essential and which references are only inspiration so the purchase recommendation answers the actual haircut brief.
Use the retailer’s length information
Read the existing Luxeline length guide and the options on the exact product. Keep the listed length separate from the length you hope to see after cutting and styling. Do not calculate a purchase solely from a model photograph. If the measurement method or a particular product option remains unclear, ask the retailer before treating it as a fixed technical input.
Ask for the starting recommendation
Give the stylist the product link, proposed construction, density and texture. Ask which starting option they recommend for the desired cut and why. This guide does not suggest adding a set number of inches because that would ignore the individual plan. Record the recommendation so a later change to the product does not silently invalidate the advice.
Check the other configuration choices
A haircut recommendation does not resolve colour, cap fit or essential parting questions. Confirm those independently before ordering. If the product includes optional requests, establish whether they have been accepted. The Half Wig Collection notes that requests remain subject to confirmation; a planned haircut should not be treated as proof that an unconfirmed construction or fit request will be supplied.
Plan inspection before cutting
Agree that the received item will be checked against the order before the service starts. If the product appears incorrect or there is another concern, contact Luxeline before altering it. The returns policy specifically asks for inspection before cutting and other changes. Do not let an appointment date replace that step or use a haircut to conceal an unexplained discrepancy.
Record both lengths afterwards
Keep the original configuration and the description of the finished cut. If a future order is intended to reproduce the result, provide both to the stylist. The current appearance may no longer correspond to the original product length. A clear record avoids repeating the purchase with an unsuitable assumption about what was supplied and what was removed later. If the recommended starting length is unavailable, return to the stylist for a revised plan rather than substituting the nearest number yourself.
