Extension packaging and product pages may describe weight, pieces and purchase units. These are related but different measures. Read them separately before comparing products or translating a stylist’s recommendation into an order. A pack description explains what is sold; it does not by itself say how much your installation needs.
Find the sale unit
Identify what one quantity in the basket represents. It may be a pack whose contents are described elsewhere on the page. Record the exact product name and pack description together. If you cannot tell what one purchase unit includes, ask before ordering. Do not assume that a product called a set contains the same number of items as another set or that a displayed photograph shows every included piece.
Separate weight and count
Write weight in its own column and piece count in another. The current Seamless Tape collection information lists a 50g pack of 20 pieces and explains that these form 10 pairs. Those statements describe different aspects of the same product. They must not be transferred to Double-Drawn Tape-In Extensions or a weft product without checking that item’s own listing.
Read each weft product independently
The weft collection presents Double-Drawn Machine Weft and Genius Weft separately. Its stated pack information is attached to the named product, not to every item in the category. Open the individual listing and confirm which specification applies. A shared collection page is useful for navigation, but it is not a reason to treat construction, quantity or other details as identical across the range.
Translate the recommendation carefully
Ask your stylist to state the required purchase quantity for the exact item and options. If they use grams or pieces, show them the listed pack contents and ask how the recommendation converts into packs. Keep any rounding or spare material explicit. Arithmetic can check the conversion, but it cannot determine whether a particular quantity is suitable for your intended result.
Compare equivalent information
When comparing two products, align the measure you are using. One pack’s price cannot be interpreted fairly without knowing what it contains and how it fits the service plan. Keep differences in format and selected length visible. Do not call one pack better value solely because it has a higher number in a different unit. Compare the confirmed quantities required for the actual plan.
Check the received packs
On arrival, compare the number of packs and available labels with the order before installation. Keep their identity separate if you ordered more than one option. If something appears missing or incorrect, document the discrepancy and contact Luxeline. The returns policy asks customers to inspect before installation or alteration, making this count check part of receiving the order rather than something to leave until the service has begun.
A worked unit-comparison exercise
These current listing figures describe sale units, not an installation recommendation. Read each product separately and preserve its unit.
| Named product | One sale unit as listed | What not to infer |
|---|---|---|
| Seamless Tape Extensions | 50g; 20 pieces forming 10 pairs. | 20 pieces is not 20 pairs. |
| Genius Weft Extensions | 100g pack. | A matching weight does not make it the same format as tape. |
| Hair Bundle | One 95–100g bundle. | Quantity three repeats the selected configuration; it does not automatically create graduated lengths. |
| Triple Bundle Set | Three 100g bundles, 300g total; one at each chosen set length. | Its set structure differs from three identical individual selections. |
For arithmetic practice only, two Seamless Tape packs would total 100g, 40 pieces and 20 pairs using the listed pack figures. One Genius Weft pack is also listed as 100g, but the equal weight does not make those purchases interchangeable. The stylist must still choose the appropriate format and quantity for the actual plan.
