A sourcing statement can concern where hair came from, how it was collected or how a supplier describes its process. Ask which claim is being made before deciding what evidence would support it.

Separate the questions

Origin, donor arrangements, processing and product quality are different matters. A statement about one does not automatically establish the others. Copy the exact wording from the product or supplier and identify the part relevant to your decision. Avoid converting a country label into a claim about every stage of a supply chain.

Ask for relevant evidence

Use the exact product link and ask what information is available for that item. A general company statement may have a different scope from a batch or product record. If a certification is mentioned, ask for the issuer, scope and current reference rather than treating the badge as self-explanatory.

Keep the conclusion proportionate

Record what was confirmed, by whom and any limits. An unavailable document should not be replaced by an invented assurance, but it also does not prove a particular allegation. If the unresolved sourcing point is essential to your purchase, keep it open and make the decision on the evidence actually available.
