Pre-plucked is a finishing description used in some wig listings. It should be read alongside the product’s construction and the look you want.
Check the exact statement
The current Black Straight product describes a pre-plucked hairline and baby hairs. That is the seller’s stated finish for that product. It does not establish the cap size, the exact appearance on every wearer or permission to make further changes without advice.
Compare your actual styling goal
Show the desired parting or hairline reference to the stylist and ask what additional preparation, if any, would be needed. Keep the supplied finish separate from a custom request. Do not assume that more plucking is always required or attempt it while an order concern is unresolved. Inspect the product first and use item-specific guidance for any alteration.
Practical check
- Supplied finish distinguished from a custom request.
- Fit and parting checked separately.
- Further alteration discussed before proceeding.

What pre-plucked means
Luvme describes plucking as removing selected hairs from the lace near the hairline or part to change the density transition. Pre-plucked therefore describes preparation already performed on that area. It is different from cutting excess lace or bleaching knots, which address other features.
For a visual check, compare the close-up at the front edge with the fuller hair immediately behind it. Ask for an unstyled close-up if the model image hides that transition. Do not use the overall wig density percentage as a measurement of the front edge: those describe different things. The Black Straight listing’s finish statement is the relevant Luxeline product example, but its portrait alone cannot quantify how much preparation was performed.
Write the question precisely: “Does this selected item arrive with its hairline already thinned, and can you show the supplied front edge before additional styling?” Removing more hair is permanent; have a qualified stylist assess whether any additional work is needed.
